The Berkeley SSCX Series is a SS Centrifugal Pump with a Stainless-Steel Housing and Shaft, High-Temperature Rating, Mechanical Shaft Seal Options, Impeller Options (304 Stainless Steel or Noryl) and Drain/Vent Ports.

Precision molded for perfect balance and lasting quality; ultra-smooth flow ports maximize performance and efficiency. 304 SS impeller insert for increased durability.

Precision lapped and highly polished carbon ceramic, stainless steel construction with buna elastomers; delivers long-life reliability.

Single-phase motors showing both 115 and 230 volts, and three-phase motors showing both 230 and 460 volts as standard, are reconnectable for either voltage, 230 volt motors WILL NOT operate on 208 volt systems. For 208 volt systems, order 200 volt motor. 50 hp Open Drip Proof and larger 460 volt motors are suitable for part-wind start, TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) are across the line starting.

304 Stainless Steel or precision-molded Noryl feature ultra-smooth flow ports to maximize performance and efficiency.

Maximum corrosion resistance in chemical as well as water applications; smooth flow path assures quiet operation.

The SSCX Series centrifugal pumps with the Noryl Impellar are designed for temperatures up to 185°F while the 304 Stainless Steel impeller is rated for temperatures to 250°F. This makes the Berkeley SSCX Series Pumps are a great choice for an array of pump applications and conditions.

Choice of three seal options to meet a wide variety of pump applications.
– The standard seal in a SSCX Series is a Buna carbon/ ceramic. The volute uses a Buna O-ring to seal the pumping chamber sections.
– Viton with carbon/ceramic faces, includes Viton O-ring change out in pump volute.
– Viton with carbon/silicon carbide faces, includes Viton O-ring change out in pump volute.

Priming and draining is easier, faster.
