Features & Benefits
The BIC Series is designed to deliver dependable performance in dewatering applications involving clear water and light sewage. Its twin channel impeller design allows liquid to move efficiently while accommodating small solids, making it well suited for rainwater, surface water, and groundwater transfer.
The pump's hydraulic efficiency ensures strong flow rates while maintaining consistent pressure, allowing it to perform reliably across a variety of light-duty applications. This makes the series a practical solution for users who require both performance and durability in daily operation.
EVO versions enhance reliability through advanced sealing systems, improving protection against water intrusion while supporting longer service life in submerged conditions.
Construction and Operational Design
The BIC Series is constructed using GG20 cast iron across its key structural components, including the pump body, impeller, and motor housing. This provides the mechanical strength required for continuous-duty operation in wet environments. Stainless steel elements are incorporated where needed to improve corrosion resistance and overall durability.
The submersible motor is designed for continuous operation and runs at approximately 3450 RPM, providing reliable power delivery across varying system demands. Both single-phase and three-phase configurations are available, allowing for flexible integration into different electrical setups.
Single-phase models can include optional float switches for automatic operation, while certain three-phase models utilize relay systems to ensure correct float switch function. When installed correctly, these pumps are capable of operating at submersion depths up to 65 feet and handling liquid temperatures up to 104°F.
