Construction and Operational Design

The HAZ Series is constructed using hardened ductile iron for the volute and high-chrome iron for critical wear components. This material combination provides both structural strength and exceptional resistance to abrasion.

Each pump is equipped with a dual mechanical seal system to protect the motor from slurry intrusion. The submersible motor operates at approximately 1750 RPM and is designed for continuous-duty performance under heavy loads.

Class H motor insulation allows for operation in higher temperature environments, while built-in thermal and amperage overload protection safeguards the motor during extended use. Stainless steel shaft components and rugged bearings further contribute to long-term reliability.
