KC Series Sealless Centrifugal Pumps

SERIES OVERVIEW

• Pump Design: Magnetic sealless centrifugal pumps available in KC5.5, KC6, KC6H, KC7, KC8, KC10, KC11, KC22, and KC32 models. Available in Polypropylene (PP) or PVDF construction with threaded or flanged connection options depending on model. Open and closed impeller configurations are available on select models.

• Sealless Magnetic Drive: Seal-free design utilizing magnetic coupling technology for chemical process pumping applications.

• Maintenance: Back pull-out design provides access to internal components for service. KC22 and KC32 models feature a service-friendly back pull-out configuration.

KEY FEATURES

• Construction & Connections: Polypropylene or PVDF construction with NPT, BSP, FNPT, MNPT, and flanged connection options depending on model.

• Motor Compatibility: Accepts standard NEMA and IEC motor frames. Available motor compatibility ranges from NEMA 56C through 213TC and IEC 63 through 112 frame sizes depending on model.

• Run-Dry Capability: Extended run-dry capability on KC5.5 through KC10 models; 24-hour run-dry capability with carbon bushing on KC11; 10-minute run-dry capability with carbon bushing on KC22 and KC32.

• Hydraulic Options: Open and closed impeller options available on KC22 and KC32 models.

• Chemical Resistance: Polypropylene and PVDF materials available for chemical service applications.

MATERIALS OF CONSTRUCTION

• Housing Materials: Polypropylene or PVDF, depending on model.

• Internal Components: Carbon, PTFE, high-purity ceramic, and carbon-filled components depending on construction selected.

• Spindle Design: Rugged cantilevered ceramic spindle on KC11, KC22, and KC32 models.

• Elastomers: Viton® O-ring and sealing components.

• Temperature Limits: 180°F / 82°C (Polypropylene); 220°F / 104°C (PVDF).

• Specific Gravity: Up to 1.8, depending on model and configuration.

• Viscosity: Maximum 50 cP on KC11, KC22, and KC32 models.

• Operating Speed: 3450 RPM at 60 Hz and 2900 RPM at 50 Hz.
