Technical Architecture
This series covers OEM components for the field repair and installation of Air-Operated Double Diaphragm (AODD), piston, and metering pump systems. These parts provide replacement wear components that meet original equipment tolerances and establish standardized connection points. Installation kits align secondary hardware—such as wall brackets, suction wands, and suppressors—with the specific operational parameters of the primary pump unit.
Wet End Repair Logic
Wet end kits restore volumetric efficiency by replacing wetted wear components. Kits are configured based on material properties required for specific chemicals:
Seats: Available in 316 Stainless Steel, Polypropylene, and Acetal for abrasion and chemical resistance.
Check Balls: Options include PTFE, SST, Geolast®, and Santoprene® to ensure proper sealing at the manifold interface.
Diaphragms: Standard configurations for general transfer, with heavy-duty overmolded versions available to extend service life and reduce leak paths in high-demand cycles.
Pneumatic Drive Maintenance
Air-side kits maintain cycle frequency for air motors and valve assemblies. Internal components like actuator pistons, pilot pins, u-cup packings, and carriage pins must be replaced at set intervals to prevent erratic pumping or stalling. Supply-side hardware includes regulators for flow control and polypropylene mufflers to manage noise and prevent ice particle ejection.
Fluid Path & Pressure Control
Surge suppressors are recommended within 10 pipe diameters of the pump discharge to stabilize pressure and mitigate hydraulic shock. Automatic models self-adjust, while manual versions require a pre-charge relative to system pressure. Thermal relief hardware is installed to prevent over-pressurization caused by temperature-induced fluid expansion in closed lines.
Mounting & Atmospheric Protection
Installation hardware includes wall-mount brackets with vibration dampeners and riser tube kits for direct container access via adjustable bung adapters. For moisture-sensitive chemistry like Isocyanates, desiccant dryers are required on container vents to prevent material crystallization. Safety compliance is maintained through mandatory grounding strips, lugs, and conductive hoses for flammable fluid transfer.
