Sealmaster Cooling Tower Bearings

Regal offers specialized Sealmaster® bearings specifically designed for cooling tower applications.

These bearings feature a shield pressed onto the inner ring, functioning as an umbrella to protect the bearing. To support this design, unique casting configurations are employed, preventing contact between the shield and the casting—making the shield incompatible with standard products.

These designs also incorporate a spring-loaded seal on the bottom side, which provides superior lubrication retention compared to traditional single-lip contact seals. Additionally, a single-lip seal is used on the top side to direct grease purge upward, filling the space beneath the shield with grease and creating an extra moisture-resistant barrier.
