The QUANTM Industrial i80 is a 1.5-inch electric-operated double diaphragm pump designed for high-efficiency industrial transfer. By utilizing the direct-drive FluxCore motor, the i80 consumes up to 80% less energy than pneumatic alternatives while removing the requirement for a compressed air supply. This sealless, muffler-free configuration operates with 90% less sound intensity than air-driven pumps.
Performance & Reliability
Delivering up to 80 gpm at pressures reaching 100 psi, the i80 provides high throughput for demanding industrial services. It retains critical AODD benefits, including the ability to stall under pressure and self-prime without being gravity-fed. The sealless architecture allows the pump to run dry safely, while the direct-drive system avoids the mechanical complexity and maintenance requirements of traditional EODD gearboxes.
Materials & Construction
Fluid sections are available in Aluminum, Polypropylene, PVDF, and 316 Stainless Steel to ensure compatibility with a wide range of industrial fluids. Wetted components can be configured with seat and diaphragm materials including PTFE, Santoprene, and various elastomers. The entire pump is IP66 wash-down rated, making it suitable for continuous-duty operation in harsh or wet environments.
Motor & Controls
Smart controls allow for manual speed and pressure adjustments via an integrated dial at the pump. An intelligent auto-prime feature automatically restarts the priming sequence if fluid is not detected during operation. For automated facilities, the unit includes an I/O port for remote start/stop control and speed monitoring through a PLC.
Installation & Serviceability
With a footprint similar to standard 1.5-inch AODD pumps, the i80 serves as a drop-in replacement for existing air-driven systems. Setup is fast with factory-wired voltage options for 120V, 240V, or 480V power. Maintenance is streamlined by an externally accessible fluid section and a design with fewer moving parts than traditional electric or pneumatic pumps, reducing overall service costs.
