California Proposition 65 Notice

Products sold on PumpCatalog.com may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. For more information, visit the official Proposition 65 warnings page.

Acceptance of Terms

All orders placed with PumpCatalog.com or Manufacturers Edge are subject to these Terms and Conditions. By placing an order, whether online, by phone, or by email, the buyer accepts these terms in full. Any additional or conflicting terms proposed by the buyer are rejected unless expressly agreed to in writing by Manufacturers Edge.

Pricing and Part Number Responsibility

Prices on PumpCatalog.com are uploaded from manufacturers' price lists and may occasionally contain typographical errors. PumpCatalog.com reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for a product listed at an incorrect price. You will be notified directly if this occurs.

Part number selection is the customer's responsibility. If an incorrect selection is made, the customer is responsible for any applicable manufacturer restocking fees listed in these terms. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) part numbers are the customer's responsibility to verify. If you have a pump installed on OEM equipment, please consult the OEM for the correct replacement part.

If you are unsure about your selection, call (800) 810-1053 and we will verify your selection before you place the order.

Payment Terms

Business credit terms are Net 30 days, payable by company check, money order, credit card, or cashier's check in U.S. dollars only. Personal checks are not accepted unless business credit is established in the name on the check.

  • A $25 fee applies to all returned checks.
  • A finance charge of 1.5% per month applies to payments received after the due date.
  • Delinquent or defaulted accounts may result in purchases being declined and the business credit account being cancelled at our discretion.
  • We may report payment history to credit reporting agencies and other creditors.

Your order may contain stock or non-stock items (custom ordered for you). Credit card orders are charged at the time the order is placed. If you are on credit card terms and have a card on file (PCI compliant), we reserve the right to charge the card on file for all balances owed. If you later apply for Net 30 terms, we reserve the right to charge your card on file for any balances over 60 days past due.

For detailed Net 30 credit terms, see our Net 30 Terms & Conditions.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is collected only on purchases shipped to New Jersey, unless we have a valid tax exemption certificate on file. All prices and charges are exclusive of excise, sales, use, property, occupational, or similar taxes unless otherwise indicated. If applicable taxes must be collected, they will be added to the amounts for items sold.

Buyers claiming tax exemption are responsible for providing valid documentation and agree to hold the seller harmless from any tax, interest, or penalties assessed if the items are later deemed taxable. Please see the PumpCatalog.com website for tax exemption forms or call our accounting department.

Shipping

To offer the widest selection of products, we have established agreements with multiple manufacturers across the United States. Your order may arrive in multiple shipments from multiple locations. This information is presented during checkout.

If there are special shipping instructions that we are not made aware of at the time of sale, you authorize us to charge your credit card for any additional charges incurred as a result. Proof of any such charges will be emailed to you at the time the charge occurs.

For full details on shipping methods, carriers, and delivery timeframes, see our Shipping Policy.

Transit Times and Delivery

All shipping transit times and delivery dates are estimates. Order cancellations due to shipping delays for any reason will be subject to the manufacturer's minimum restocking fee listed below. Any additional freight charges or return fees will be applied in addition to the restocking fee.

Delivery corrections: Any delivery corrections resulting from incorrect information provided by the customer at the time of order will be charged back to the customer. This includes residential deliveries and special deliveries (e.g., military bases, schools, construction sites).

Residential deliveries: Residential deliveries are not guaranteed by all carriers. If your shipping address is residential, please notify us before placing your order so we can advise on the best delivery options. For packages left at a residential address, claims must be filed directly with the carrier.

Truck Shipment Terms

For freight collect shipments, title and responsibility for goods transfer to the buyer once freight leaves our dock. The customer is responsible for filing any shipping damage claims or address corrections with the carrier.

Once freight leaves our dock, tracking information will be provided. Customers must ensure someone is available to receive delivery during normal business hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST). Re-delivery charges may apply if delivery cannot be completed, and goods will not be released until any such charges are paid.

Quoted shipping charges are for standard truck shipment to a commercial dock designated to receive freight. Additional charges may apply for:

  • Call prior to delivery / 24-hour notification
  • Liftgate service
  • Inside delivery
  • Residential delivery

If a customer rejects a shipment, applicable restocking fees will apply as outlined in these terms.

Receiving and Inspection

Inspect all packages upon delivery. All shipment BOLs include weight and number of packages. Count all packages before signing. Once a shipment is signed for, the carrier considers it delivered in good condition.

All packages (freight and small parcel) must be opened and inspected within 48 hours of receipt. Claims may be limited if damage is not documented at the time of delivery or reported within 48 hours. For goods shipped to a third party, the ordering customer remains responsible for inspection and claims.

FOB Shipping Points

FOB (Free on Board) shipping points are determined by stock levels at multiple warehouse locations. We do not guarantee shipping points for products on PumpCatalog.com. If you need a specific FOB point, call (866) 763-8244 and speak with a customer service representative.

Any taxes, customs duties, or additional fees incurred on international shipments are the responsibility of the buyer.

Manufacturer Recommended Shipping Method

PumpCatalog.com or the manufacturer shipping the product may determine the best shipping method for your order. If the customer chooses a different method (UPS, USPS, FedEx, or any other domestic parcel service) over the recommended method, the customer assumes ownership of the freight once it leaves the dock. The customer will be responsible for filing any claims with the carrier and accepting the loss if the carrier does not honor the claim.

Heavy and Oversize Packages (70+ lbs)

Per UPS and other small package carrier tariffs, packages requiring additional handling (70 lbs or more) are not eligible for guaranteed service times because they require additional personnel. Air services such as Next Day Air are especially subject to delays due to capacity constraints. Ground shipments are generally less affected.

To minimize risk of delay, customers can split shipments into packages under 70 lbs or ship one extra day early. Delivery timelines may also be impacted by carrier capacity, weather, or other logistics disruptions.

Special and Expedited Orders

Any special or expedited orders from the factory that are cancelled or not picked up by the customer are subject to up to a 50% restocking fee, with no exceptions.

Online Orders

Any orders entered on PumpCatalog.com, or quotes sent via email and paid online, that are incorrect and not cancelled or corrected by 5:00 PM EST on the order day will be subject to a 3% fee to cancel and refund the payment to your credit card. The order day begins at 12:00 AM EST.

Order Changes and Cancellations

Buyers may request changes to designs, specifications, quantities, delivery dates, or cancellation of all or part of an order. No modification or cancellation is effective until the buyer contacts us at (800) 810-1053, Option 2, and obtains a cancellation number. Acceptance of any modification or cancellation is at Manufacturers Edge's discretion.

Cancellation requirements for mechanical seals, impellers, and other parts: Once an order is placed on PumpCatalog.com, it cannot be cancelled by email. Cancellations must be phoned in to (866) 763-8244, Option 2, with a valid PumpCatalog order number. A cancellation notice will be emailed to you once approved. We reserve the right to refuse any cancellation request.

Email cancellations are not accepted. Refusing delivery of a shipment does not constitute a refund. Once an item has shipped, the sale is complete.

Credit Card Cancellations

A standard 3% cancellation fee applies to the total amount charged. Refunds for cancelled orders will be processed within 3 business days, less the cancellation fee. If your order has already shipped, additional fees may apply.

Returns and Restocking Fees

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, subject to a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and the applicable manufacturer restocking fee. For full details on the return process, see our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Product Selection and Application Responsibility

Application recommendations are provided as a courtesy based on information supplied by the customer and do not constitute a guarantee of suitability. No recommendation or guarantee of resistance is made or implied by the material choice.

The buyer is responsible for complying with any applicable federal, state, or local codes and regulations concerning the application, construction, installation, and use of any products purchased. The buyer assumes all responsibility for proper selection, installation, and use.

Title Transfer

Title of purchased goods does not transfer from seller to buyer until full payment is received by Manufacturers Edge in New Jersey. Responsibility for goods transfers to the buyer when the purchased goods are shipped. This applies to both credit card and Net 30 term customers.

Force Majeure

The seller does not assume the risk of, and shall not be liable for, delay or failure to perform any obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control. These include, without limitation: accidents, acts of God, strikes or labor disputes, government actions or regulations, fires, floods, carrier or supplier delays, material shortages, and any other cause beyond the seller's control.

Entire Agreement and Governing Law

These terms and conditions, together with any amendments or modifications expressly accepted in writing by the seller, constitute the entire agreement concerning items sold. No oral or other representations apply. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. No action arising from the sale of items or this agreement may be brought more than two (2) years after the cause of action accrues.
